Libyan Handling & Aircraft Maintenance Services (LHAMS) has emerged as an independent entity in 2006, after long years of working with X-Libyan Arabic Airlines (LAA) as one large company in Libya.

LHAMS has led the way in establishing a workplace that puts high value on excellence of work, and on playing a leading role in the region (North Africa), as well as seeking to reach a wider international service company.

The more serious challenge for LHAMS in a world of increasing competing handling air craft maintenance services companies will be how to gain the client satisfaction, depending mainly on the excellence and quality of work, through skilled workers, qualified professionals and top rank engineers.

Something has already been done in this direction by seeking several International approvals (EASA, ISAGO,ISO) and participating in international aviation fairs as well as being an IATA member.

EASA approval certificate has alraedy been achieved by LHAMS in 16/09/2008. The approval schedule covers Airbus : A319, A320 & A321.

Above all, more has to be done to secure the continuous realization of the fact that our main goal is to satisfy our clients. We can be certain, therefore, that LHAMS is particularly timely and well-directed and worthy of the task it is aiming for.

LHAMS has made a strategic plan to benefit from the skilled workers, the qualified professionals and the top rank engineers, by investing in a joint venture projects in the region, and providing an aircraft maintenance services outside its domestic zone.
